The Canadian International Trade Tribunal (CITT) on December 9 ordered the Canadian steel service center Alliance Steel to complete a producers' questionnaire within the scope of the inquiry as to whether dumping of hot rolled carbon steel plate and high-strength low-alloy steel plate, originating in or exported from Ukraine, has caused injury or retardation or is threatening to cause injury to the domestic industry.

Accordingly, Alliance Steel is to submit the questionnaire to the tribunal today, December 18.

The inquiry in question commenced on October 6, 2009. The public hearing regarding the inquiry will be held on January 5 next year, while the findings will be issued on February 2.
