In May this year, China’s auto export volume totaled 78,000 units, decreasing by 6.1 percent year on year, including 55,000 passenger vehicles and 23,000 commercial vehicles, decreasing by 20.4 percent and 4.5 percent year on year, respectively, as announced by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM).
In the January-May period this year, China’s auto export volume totaled 392,000 units, declining by 4.9 percent year on year, including 259,000 passenger vehicles and 133,000 commercial vehicles, decreasing by 14.5 percent and increasing by 21.7 percent year on year, respectively.
