CAAM: China’s auto output decreases by 13.7 percent in H1

In June this year, production and sales of automotive vehicles in China totaled 1.895 million units and 2.056 million units, down 17.3 percent and 9.6 percent year on year, respectively, as announced by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM).

In the January-June period of the current year, production and sales of automotive vehicles in China totaled 12.132 million units and 12.323 million units, down 13.7 percent and 12.4 percent year on year, respectively, with these respective declines 0.7 percentage points higher and 0.6 percentage points lower than those recorded in the January-May period this year.
