Brazil's steel distributors association Inda disclosed that its members' steel sales rose 5.3 percent year on year to 202,000 tons in June.
Distributors' stocks stood at around 487,000 tons end-June, down 31.6 percent from a year earlier.
Distributors of Inda purchased around 236,000 tons of steel from steel producers in June, an increase of 29 percent from a year earlier.
