Brazil's motor vehicle output (excluding agricultural vehicles) in June this year increased by 129.1 percent from the previous month and fell by 57.7 percent year on year to 98,708 units, according to the Brazilian Motor Vehicle Manufacturers Association (Anfavea). Meanwhile, in the January-June period this year, the country's motor vehicle output (excluding agricultural vehicles) decreased by 50.5 percent year on year to 729,527 units.
New motor vehicle registrations (excluding agricultural vehicles) in Brazil totaled 132,818 units in June this year, increasing by 113.6 percent when compared to May and decreasing by 40.5 percent year on year. In the January-June period, the country's new motor vehicle registrations (excluding agricultural vehicles) fell by 38.2 percent year on year to 808,824 units.
Meanwhile, Brazil's motor vehicle exports in June (excluding agricultural vehicles) totaled 19,405 units, increasing by 401.4 percent compared to the previous month and down 52.0 percent year on year. In the first six months of the current year, Brazil's motor vehicle exports totaled 119,485 units, down by 46.2 percent year on year.
