Brazil’s ministry of industry, foreign trade and services (MDIC) has allowed a government analyst to travel to India to investigate Indian exports of cast iron pipes, according to a notice published at the nation’s official gazette.

Analyst Paulo Henrique de Freitas Neves will visit Indian producer Jindal SAW Gulf LLC from September 8-22 as part of an anti-dumping (AD) investigation over the India imports of cast iron pipes to Brazil.

The US has announced recently preliminary anti-dumping (AD) duties on cast iron pipes from India, China and four other countries. India’s preliminary duty was 50.6 percent.
