Brazil extends AD duties on imports of steel piping from China and Romania

The Brazilian ministry of industry, trade and services (MDIC) announced the extension of anti-dumping measures imposed against imports of seamless carbon steel line pipes with up to five inches in diameter from Romania and China.

The extension is valid for five years, with an additional of $743/mt for the Chinese product and $75.11/mt for the Romanian product.

Between 2015 and 2023, Brazil imported a total of 97,000 mt of the product, of which 15,200 mt from China and 200 mt from Romania.
