Brazil slaps AD duties on NGO electrical steel imports from Germany

Brazil’s Ministry of Economy has announced that it has imposed definitive antidumping duties on non-grain-oriented (NGO) electrical sheet steel imports from Germany.

The antidumping duty rate for German suppliers including CD Wälzholz KG and Thyssenkrupp Steel Europe AG stands at $166.32/mt. The duties will be in place for a period of one year and they will be reviewed.

The products subject to the antidumping duty are classified under Customs Tariff Statistics Position Numbers 7225.19.00 and 7226.19.00.
