BMZ reports production results for January-July 2006

Byelorussian Steel Works (BMZ), Republic of Byelorussia, increased the production of crude steel by 9.3 percent and that of finished steel products by 1.5 percent year on year to 1.28 million metric tons and to 1.05 million metric tons respectively in the first seven months of 2006. In addition, Vadim Pishikin, the Vice General Manager of the enterprise, announced that BMZ is planning to produce 2.5 million metric tons of billets in 2006.
