BMZ issues Jan-Aug production data

Byelorussian Iron and Steel Works (BMZ) has announced its production results for the first eight months of 2007.

Accordingly, during the period in question BMZ increased its crude steel production by 4.4 percent and upped its finished steel products output by 5.3 percent year on year, to 1.54 million metric tons and to 1.23 million metric tons respectively.
