BMZ expands tube production range

Byelorussian Iron and Steel Works (BMZ) has announced that during the current month it has commenced production of seamless tubes with outside diameters of 76.1, 88.9, 108 and 114.3 mm and with wall thicknesses of 4.5 to 5.0 mm.

The new production assortment will enable BMZ to increase its output in September to about 11,000 mt.

Moreover, during October BMZ plans to reach its designed capacity and to produce about 21,000 mt of tubes monthly.

During January-August of the current year BMZ produced about 44,000 mt of seamless tubes.
