Belarus-based BMZ produces cutting wire and welding wire to substitute imports

Belarus-based Byelorussian Steel Works (BMZ) has become the first CIS-based company to produce high-tech cutting wire and welding wire 08G2S, according to its statement.

Accordingly, the cutting wire is produced with diameters of 0.14 mm, 0.15 mm and 0.20 mm, whereas welding wire 08G2S is being offered as copper-plated and polished without coating, with the product usually used with automatic and semi-automatic welding machines in the sector.

BMZ plans to sell these products mainly to the domestic market and to Russia, and to substitute imports.
