Baotou Steel sees remarkable production results in September

In September, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region-based Chinese steelmaker Baotou Steel produced 812,900 mt of pig iron, 848,100 mt of crude steel, and 802,500 mt of finished and semi-finished steel. Furthermore, in the first nine month of this year, the producer's outputs of pig iron, crude steel and of finished and semi-finished steel combined amounted to 7.2439 million mt, 7.5456 million mt and 7.2159 million mt, up 3.45 percent, 5.03 percent and 6.21 percent respectively, compared to the corresponding period of the previous year.
