Baotou Steel posts 2007 sales revenues of RMB 32.849 billion

In 2007, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region-based Baotou Steel produced 8.9845 million mt of pig iron, 8.8387 million mt of finished steel, and 8.2674 million mt of semi-finished steel, up 22 percent, 18 percent, and 18 percent respectively year on year.

In addition, the producer's sales revenues hit RMB 32.849 billion ($4.57 billion), a rise of 20.12 percent compared with the 2006 figure, thereby registering a new historical record in terms of revenue levels.
