Baotou Steel completes trials at new facility at Baiyun Ebo iron ore deposit

Inner Mongolia-based Chinese steel producer Baotou Steel Group has announced that it has successfully completed trial tests at its new on-site high-tech iron ore processing facility at its Baiyun Ebo iron ore deposit.
 
The construction of the processing facility, by Beijing-based North Mine-Young Technology Co., Ltd, commenced in March of the current year. The facility has a designed annual production capacity of 30,000 mt.
 
The Baiyun Ebo deposit contains iron ore, niobium and rare earth. The deposit has an annual production capacity of 12 million mt of iron ore.
