Baosteel’s heavy plates receive certification from shipping bureaus

Chinese steel giant Baosteel Corporation has announced that the heavy shipbuilding plates and extra high strength shipbuilding plates produced by the company have received certification from the shipping bureaus of many countries, including the American Bureau of Shipping (ABS), Det Norske Veritas (DNV) and Nippon Kaiji Kyokai (NK).

The certification work in question was launched at the end of last year. Baosteel stepped up its endeavors to complete the certification work with the aim of increasing its market share.
