Shanghai-based Chinese steel giant Baosteel recently signed an agreement with Shanghai Electric Co. for the supply of cold rolled titanium-added special steel for application in desalination facilities.
In addition, the two sides will work together on research and development for special steels for use in desalination and coastal nuclear power facilities, thereby achieving substitution of import materials.
