Chinese steelmaker Xinjiang Bayi Iron and Steel (Bayi Steel), a subsidiary of Chinese steel giant Baosteel Group, has announced that in the first 10 months of the current year its cold rolling mill recorded a strong year-on-year increase in output to 390,000 mt.

To satisfy cold rolled product demand in the market, daily controls and preventative maintenance have been increased at the cold rolling mill, reducing the possibility of equipment failure.
