Argentina’s crude steel production down 1.8 percent in October

Argentina’s crude steel production in October this year increased by five percent month on month, to 468,700 mt, down 1.8 percent compared to October 2014, the country's steel chamber (CAA) has stated. In the January-October period, crude steel production in Argentina totaled 4.25 million mt, down 7.2 percent compared to the same period of the previous year.
 
Argentina's hot rolled finished steel production in October increased by 22.4 percent month on month and was down 1.1 percent year on year to 412,200 mt, while its cold rolled flat steel production in the given month rose by 1.7 percent month on month and by 10.7 percent year on year to 106,300 mt.
