Argentina initiates AD duty probe on pipe imports from China

Argentina's National Commission of Foreign Trade has announced that it has initiated an antidumping (AD) duty investigation on steel pipe imports from China.
 
The investigation launched upon a complaint received from local producers Siderca, SIAT SA and Tubhier SA. The products under investigation are welded and seamless pipes with diameter of up to 406.4 mm and wall thickness up to 12.7 mm used in the oil and gas industry.
 
The products in question currently fall under Customs Tariff Statistics Position Numbers 7304.19.00 and 7306.19.00.
