ArcelorMittal Temirtau, Kazakhstan-based subsidiary of the world's largest steel producer ArcelorMittal, has entered the final phase of the construction of its longs producing facility.

At the beginning of June the company is planning to start the cold trial of equipment.

The new longs producing facility will commence production with an annual capacity of 400,000 mt, which will be increased to 500,000 mt at a later stage.

The construction of the longs producing facility at ArcelorMittal Temirtau is aimed at reducing Kazakhstan's dependency on long product imports.
