In the January-November period of the current year, the crude steel production of ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih, Ukrainian subsidiary of global steel giant ArcelorMittal, totaled 5.869 million mt, up 13.8 percent year on year.
In addition, in the first 11 months of the year ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih registered a 14.3 percent increase year on year in its finished steel output to 5.109 million mt. During the period in question, pig iron production at ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih increased by 16 percent year on year to 5.123 million mt.
Meanwhile, in November alone crude steel production at ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih increased by 5.8 percent to 562,500 mt, output of finished steel went up by 15.7 percent to 498,700 mt, and production of pig iron moved up by five percent to 485,100 mt, all on year-on-year basis.
