ArcelorMittal Kriviy Rih, Ukraine-based subsidiary of the world's largest integrated metals and mining company ArcelorMittal, has said that its operations in March were stable, with output being at the same levels as in the first two months of the year. However, the company's steel outputs both in March and in Q1 registered decreases compared to the same period last year.
In March, ArcelorMittal Kriviy Rih completed the major overhaul at the sintering unit No. 2 at its sintering shop No. 2. "The completion of this important stage gives us certain production prospects for the coming months," ArcelorMittal Kriviy Rih's acting COO Aleksandr Ioskov said.
