Antai Group carries out hot run test on high speed wire rod line

On July 25, China's Shanxi Province-based Antai Group carried out a successful hot run test on its new production line for high speed wire rod.

Built with a total investment of RMB 616 million ($90 million), Antai Group's high speed wire rod line which has a designed annual capacity of 800,000 mt took 18.5 months to complete. The new production line will be able to output products including round steel and coiled rebar, in steel grades covering carbon structural steel, quality carbon steel, cold heading steel, low-alloy steel, alloy structural steel and others.
