Annual inflation rate in Turkey stands at 19.67 percent in February

According to the statistics released by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), in February the consumer price index (CPI) for Turkish industry in general increased by 0.16 percent month on month, while annual inflation reached 19.67 percent.

Among the main product groups, the highest month-on-month increase was seen in the health sector with 2.48 percent, while the highest year-on-year increase was registered in food and non-alcoholic beverages with 29.25 percent.
