Alloy Steel Int’l to supply wear-resistant plate to BHP Billiton’s iron ore operations

Australia-based Alloy Steel International, Inc. has announced that its Australian subsidiary, Alloy Steel Australia (Int) Pty Ltd (AYSI), has signed a five-year framework contract with Australian miner BHP Billiton Iron Ore Pty Ltd (BHPBIO) for the supply of wear-resistant steel plate to BHP Billiton's iron ore operations in the Pilbara area of Western Australia.
 
The AYSI group has been supplying wear-resistant steel plates to BHP Billiton for more than seven years. This contract provides a mutually beneficial framework for future supply until 2018.
