AK Tube completes acquisition of Central Tubing Facility

US leading flat producer AK Steel's tubemaking subsidiary, AK Tube LLC located in Walbridge, Ohio, has completed the acquisition of Central Tubing Facility (CTF) located in Columbus, Indiana. CTF which is a subsidiary of a leading global automotive supplier ArvinMeritor, is taken over against $67 million by AK Tube. The acquisition also includes a multi-year supply agreement between AK Tube and ArvinMeritor. AK Steel officials expressed that the acquisition of CTF continues their strategy of presenting value-added products and superior customer service to the market.
