Chinese welded steel pipe export offers

According to market sources, demand for Chinese welded pipes in the export markets has recovered slightly over the past week, but is still on the low side. With the slight recovery of demand and with the Chinese futures market starting this week on an upward trend, Chinese offers to the export markets for 0.5"-12" grade B water and gas welded pipes as per ASTM A53 or API 5L have increased by $15/mt on average over the past week to $380-400/mt FOB on theoretical weight basis.
