At present, export offers for welded pipe given by Chinese suppliers are in the range of $620-650/mt FOB, moving sideways compared to September 7, while export offers for API 5L seamless pipe given by Chinese suppliers are at $640-680/mt FOB, December shipment, remaining stable compared to that on September 7.

Rebar futures prices at Shanghai Futures Exchange (SHFE) have risen compared to the previous week, providing some support for the steel pipe market. It is thought that steel pipe prices may fluctuate within a limited range in the coming week.
Rebar futures prices at Shanghai Futures Exchange (SHFE) stand at RMB 3,741/mt ($541/mt) on September 14, up by RMB 68/mt ($9.8/mt), or 1.85 percent compared to September 7, while down by 1.29 percent compared to the previous trading day, September 13.
