During the given week, steel pipe prices have moved stable as demand slackened amid the approaching rainy weather in eastern China. Meanwhile, downstream users mostly held a wait-and-see stance as regards the future prospects for the steel pipe market. It is thought that steel pipe prices in the Chinese domestic market may edge down in the coming week.
Rebar futures prices at Shanghai Futures Exchange (SHFE) stand at RMB 5,035/mt ($787/mt) on June 9, up RMB 33/mt ($5.2/mt) or 0.66 percent from June 2.
