On November 7, SteelOrbis reported US domestic ferrosilicon (75 percent silicon) prices at $2,049-2,116/mt in-warehouse Pittsburgh.

Sources inform SteelOrbis that prices have slipped $26/mt from the top of the previous range in the last week and are presently at $2,049-2,090/mt in-warehouse Pittsburgh. As international import prices are strengthening, spot market trade volumes are slated to increase, and 2018 contracts begin to settle, sources say further price erosion is not expected as the year-end approaches.
