US domestic ferrochrome prices trend stable

On May 1, SteelOrbis reported prices for US domestic high-carbon ferrochrome (6-8 percent carbon, 60-65 percent chromium, and maximum 2 percent silicon) trending up at $3,095-3,280/mt in-warehouse Pittsburgh.

Sources inform SteelOrbis that ferrochrome prices “continue stable with minimal discounts of $10/mt or less from prices early in May.”
