US domestic ferromanganese prices trend down

On April 4, SteelOrbis reported US domestic high-carbon ferromanganese (78 percent manganese and 7.5 percent carbon) down at $1,500-1,590/mt in-warehouse Pittsburgh.

Sources inform SteelOrbis that prices are presently at $1,460-1,530/mt in-warehouse Pittsburgh. Priced declined $40/mt from the bottom of the previous range and $60/mt from the top of the previous range. A source noted that the price has been relatively stable in the present range since early May.
