US domestic ferrosilicon prices slide

On February 21, SteelOrbis reported US domestic ferrosilicon prices slightly up at $2,465-2,510/mt in-warehouse Pittsburgh.

Sources report that prices remained stable into late February but have decreased consistently week-on-week through March. Sources report prices now at $2,350-2,420/mt in-warehouse Pittsburgh. Prices declined $115/mt from the bottom of the previous range and $90/mt from the top of the same range.
