On October 10, SteelOrbis reported high-carbon ferromanganese at $1,490-1,575/mt in-warehouse Pittsburgh. According to sources, the spot price for high-carbon ferromanganese is currently at $1,490-1,550/mt in warehouse Pittsburgh. Compared to previous prices, the price held firm on the bottom of the range with a decline of $25/mt from the top of the previous range.

The past week encountered fewer spot transactions as the larger fourth quarter agreements closed in mid-October, but the relative steady price is attributed to “strength in ore prices and continued fundamental demand.”
