On January 23, SteelOrbis reported prices for US domestic high-carbon ferrochrome (6-8 percent carbon, 60-65 percent chromium, and maximum 2 percent silicon) continued to trend stable for the third month at $3,085-3,262/mt in-warehouse Pittsburgh.

Sources inform SteelOrbis that prices are now generally within the same range, with a few isolated incidents of trades at $3,280/mt, which widens the range on the upper end by $18/mt.
