On March 26, SteelOrbis reported that offers for containerized shredded (shredded 211) scrap from the EU and UK to Pakistan were at $340-345/mt CFR.

Sources inform SteelOrbis that prices shredded scrap import offers are now reportedly at $332-340/mt CFR, down $8/mt from the bottom of the previous range and $5/mt from the top of the same range. A source noted that the currency has depreciated against the dollar over the past month from PRK 140.59 (March 26) to PKR 141.57 (April 4), which may influence a slower import demand for scrap.
