Scrap import offers to Pakistan tick up

On July 2, SteelOrbis reported that offers for containerized shredded (shredded 211) scrap from the EU and UK to Pakistan were generally at $320-325/mt CFR.

Sources inform SteelOrbis that shredded scrap offers from the EU and UK to Pakistan are now trending up at $325-330/mt CFR, up $5/mt from both the bottom and the top of the previous respective range. A source reported stable prices in the past few deals and overall “stable outlook as the scrap market seems to be finding a balance into August.”
