On July 9, SteelOrbis reported that offers for containerized shredded (shredded 211) scrap from the EU and UK to Pakistan were generally at $325-330/mt CFR.

Sources inform SteelOrbis that shredded scrap offers from the EU and UK to Pakistan are now trending wide at $313-322/mt CFR, down $12/mt from the bottom of the previous range and $8/mt from the top of the same range. The lower offers are attributed to lower-priced deals recently achieved as Pakistan continues to struggle with its domestic economy and weak foreign exchange rate.
