Local scrap quotations in Indian market - week 5
Local market sources report that domestic scrap prices in western India (Alang) have decreased by INR 1,000/mt over the past week to INR 18,400/mt ($272/mt) ex-yard, while prices in northern India (Mandi Govindgarh) have declined by INR 900/mt over the same period to INR 18,000/mt ($266/mt) ex-yard.
Meanwhile, ex-Europe HMS I/II 80:20 scrap prices for India have moved down by $20/mt week on week to $260/mt CFR.
