Local market sources report that domestic scrap prices in western India (Alang) have decreased by INR 200/mt over the past week to INR 21,200/mt ($331/mt) ex-yard, while prices in northern India (Mandi Govindgarh) have moved down by INR 300/mt over the same period to INR 23,100/mt ($360/mt) ex-yard.
Meanwhile, ex-Europe HMS I/II 80:20 scrap prices for India have increased by $10/mt week on week to $315/mt CFR.
