India’s domestic DRI prices tick up

On March 6, SteelOrbis reported domestic DRI prices in India at INR 20,100-20,300/mt ($310-313/mt) ex-warehouse Raipur.

India’s domestic DRI prices are now reportedly at INR 21,300-21,600/mt ($328-333/mt) ex-warehouse. A source noted that while prices fluctuated over the month on uncertainty, the last few weeks have shown positive gains for domestic DRI prices in India. He estimated the average national price a month ago at $315-320/mt ex-warehouse, slightly above that of Raipur. Comparing averages, prices increased 13/mt from the range a month ago.
