On August 3, SteelOrbis reported ex-India DRI offers down at $340-350/mt CFR Bangladesh.
Despite offers of imported containerized shredded scrap declining through August on global movements, sources inform SteelOrbis that DRI (80 FeM) offers to Bangladesh are trending up to $360-370/mt CFR Bangladesh, up $20/mt. Because of the increased DRI offer prices that are higher than imported shredded scrap material, DRI export trades from India to Bangladesh are reportedly limited.
