India’s domestic DRI prices continue downward trend

On September 24, SteelOrbis reported Indian domestic DRI prices trending down at INR 23,800-24,200/mt ($327-332/mt) ex-works Raipur. In the West Bengal region, prices also reportedly moved down to INR 22,000/mt ($302/mt) ex-works.

Sources inform SteelOrbis that Indian domestic DRI prices have continued trending down and are presently at INR 23,000-23,400/mt ($317-323/mt) ex-works Raipur while prices also decreasing on the eastern side with prices reportedly at INR 21,000-21,300/mt ($290-294/mt) ex-works West Bengal. Raipur prices declined $10/mt from the bottom of the previous range and $9/mt from the top of the same range. West Bengal prices declined $8-12/mt.
