Import scrap price in Turkey moves up

Sources inform SteelOrbis that an ex-US deal has been concluded by a Turkish mill for 45,000 mt of scrap. The deal is comprised of 23,000 mt of HMS I/II 80:20 scrap at $349.50/mt CFR, 20,000 mt of shredded scrap at $354.50/mt CFR, and 2,000 mt of bonus scrap for $359.50/mt CFR.

Compared to the most recent ex-US deals by Turkish mills reported by SteelOrbis on February 6, prices have increased $4.50-6.50/mt.
