SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have declined by NTD 200/mt ($6/mt) over the past week to NTD 11,200-11,900/mt ($355-377/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.
In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have remained stable over the past week at NTD 36,500-39,000/mt ($1,157-1,237/mt) ex-yard.
The above prices include five percent VAT and are for mid-March shipments.
