SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have remained unchanged over the past week at NTD 8,900-9,600/mt ($280-302/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.
In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have remained stable over the past week at NTD 36,000-38,500/mt ($1,134-1,213/mt) ex-yard.
The above prices include five percent VAT and are for mid-April shipments.
