SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have remained unchanged over the past week at NTD 8,700-9,400/mt ($276-298/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.
In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have remained stable over the past week at NTD 35,000-37,500/mt ($1,109-1,188/mt) ex-yard.
The above prices include five percent VAT and are for late March shipments.
