SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have remained unchanged over the past week at NTD 8,100-8,800/mt ($278-302/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.
In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have remained stable over the past week at NTD 31,000-33,500/mt ($1,062-1,148/mt) ex-yard.
The above prices include five percent VAT and are for mid-to-late July shipments.
