SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have remained unchanged over the past week at NTD 10,200-10,900/mt ($322-345/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.
In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have risen by NTD 1,000/mt ($32/mt) over the past week to NTD 39,500-42,000/mt ($1,248-1,327/mt) ex-yard.
The above prices include five percent VAT and are for shipments in early June.
